The annual Francophone and world music festival, Festival International, has its 2014 line up out.  Here’s the Cajun, Louisiana Creole and zydeco portion.  Remember this is Lafayette’s other festival, so it doesn’t focus on Cajun and zydeco music.  Many out-of-region bands play more than once, so you can catch your favorites again.

Wednesday, April 23:  Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band

Thursday, April 24:  Zachary Richard with Sonny Landreth

Friday, April 25:  The Pine Leaf Boys, Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band

Saturday, April 26:  BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Kevin Naquin & the Ossun Playboys, Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole,

Plus there are many Canadian performers, most Francophone:  Dominique Dupuis, Les Hay Babies, Surôit, Bernard Adamus, Kobo Town, and Ten Strings and a Goat Skin.
