Ok, so swamp pop isn’t traditional Cajun chank-a-chank music.  But here’s Grammy-award winner Wayne Toups with “Matilda.”  It’s a song originally recorded by Cookie and the Cupcakes in 1959.  Toups style tends more to the zydeco and rock and roll, but here’s a straight “belt buckle polisher,” danced slow and close.  The audio isn’t the best all the way through, but it’s still worth listening to.
