The Council on the Development of French in Louisiana, better known as CODOFIL, had its state support drastically cut back recently.  But CODOFIL proponents set to work to make up the shortfall of $100,000 or 40% of its annual budget.  They did it with a fund raising event, Lâche Pas, a French phrase meaning “Don’t let go,” “Don’t give up.”   Here’s a summary article by an LSU student from Lafayette.   Très bien, mes amis!
