Texas newspaper web site http://www.statesman.com reports that Huey P. Meaux, music pioneer in Texas and Louisiana, has died April 23, 2011, at age 82. The story goes on to say that he had also been convicted of sex crimes against children, a serious tarnish on his contributions.
