Now that cooler weather is creeping back (and forth for south Louisiana), here’s a summer-grade video, of brother and sister Adrian Houser and Heather Houser, dancing to Geno Delafose.  It’s from a farmer’s market in Opelousas, Louisiana, arguably the zydeco capital of the world.  The video is rather shaky, but the music is great and dancing outstanding.  This is not the same zydeco dance I learned in New Orleans in 1995, but it’s the style I often see in the Lafayette area and even at Rock ‘N’ Bowl in New Orleans.   The song sounds like Iry LeJeune‘s “Jolie catin.”
