The blog “30 Days Out” from George Kovacik and Denny Angelle has a great little story about the jukebox in long-ago 1960s Catahoula, LA.  One of the authors, I’m guessing Denny Angelle, with that French name, had a grandparent with a pool hall in Catahoula, which is near Lafayette.   When the jukebox guy came to change out records, he ended up with them and played them to death.   But, wait, there’s more!  Listen to Rockin’ Sidney, Givin’ Gene, Happy Fats Rufus Jagneaux, Phil Phillips and more great music.
