A new used vinyl store, Euclid Records, opens Labor Day Weekend in New Orleans at the corner of Chartres and and Desire Streets in the Bywater.  (Yes, it’s that Desire St. in Tennessee Williams’ Streetcar Named Desire – but they tore up the tracks long ago.  Pity.)  It’s an outreach of a Saint Louis, MO store of the same name.  A full lineup of local musicians plays Saturday and Sunday.   As I said recently, your best bet is to buy used records at a local store.  Do it now – you’ll thank me later!
