Nick Spitzer spent many years in Louisiana, studying and recording Cajun and Louisiana Creole music.   This week on his syndicated radio show, American Routes, he interviews Cedric Watson, the young Creole singer and accordion and fiddle player.  The show runs two hours, and he is featured in the second hour.  Looks like the interview is in the last half hour.   One of Spitzer’s great recordings, La La Black French Music (Maison de Soul LP 1004) has never been issued in CD form.  Here’s my vote to have it!  My LP copy is getting worn out!
