The video’s good but a little noisy.  This is from 2009 Festival de Musique Acadienne, part of the Festivals Acadiens et Créoles, held annually in Lafayette.  That’s Al Berard at left on violin, clowning around 0:51 into the video.  He’s formerly of the Basin Brothers, and has been part of lots of independent projects. The musicians are obviously enjoying themselves, reacting to each other and the crowd.  Don’t know about the Huval side of the band.  Perhaps they’re relatives of Terry Huval of the Jambalaya Cajun Band.  As far as I can tell, this group has no recordings available.  Women dancing together isn’t something unusual; it just means there aren’t enough men around.  They’re a fine group.  Go on and listen; you’ll have a better Friday!
