The Internet Archive has some free performances of non-Louisiana zydeco-playing bands:  Donna the Buffalo and Leftover Salmon.  These live performances are available for download or streaming.  Both these groups play some zydeco in addition to related folk-style music.  And both have been around a decade or longer and have a fine level of musicianship, though their songs tend to exceed the usual danceable three to four minutes.

Internet Archive search for the word ‘zydeco‘ turns up a venue named Zydeco’s and a few song titles.  Alas, a search on ‘cajun’ turns up no Cajun bands, only venues and a few song titles, like J.J. Cale’s ‘Cajun moon.’

The Archive’s motto is “Universal access to all knowledge.”  They also have wonderful old and new text and audio and video recordings, with titles like ‘Teenage Devil Dolls.’  Also the home of the Wayback Machine.  No, it’s not from a Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoon, but an archive of defunct and old web sites and pages.
