The Louisiana state Office of Tourism has begun posting videos on YouTube.  One of them is entitled Zydeco and Cajun Music Louisiana. It’s 5:56 and has brief interviews, including one with Horace Trahan.  He’s a great and erratic musician.  His first CD was hard-core traditional Cajun (Ossun Blues), with D.L. Menard and Terry Huval.  The first year he played Festivals Acadiens, I heard him do a rant from the stage about being proud to be a Cajun:  “Go ask your parents why you talk so funny.”  Then he converted to Creole music, putting out two recordings, Get On Board and That Butt Thing.  He plays a lot around Acadiana.
