One of my favorite singers and accordionists, Kristi Guillory, has started an online magazine devoted to Cajun and Louisiana Creole music, the Cajun-Creole Music Spectator.  It’s well designed, and only been around since late September 2009, but given the background of the founder, it promises to be a must-read source.  She recorded two albums on her own, then dropped out of public life to start a family.  She came has come back in many bands, like David Greely’s a capella group Vieille (where’s that CD announced at Jazz Fest, David?), and the excellent Bonsoir, Catin, and recorded with the Lafayette Rhythm Devils.
