On nearly every recording he’s made and at every show, D. L. Menard plays his original song, “The Back Door,” or “La Porte en Arriere.”  Here is in a back yard with the young Cajun group L’Angelus.  It’s a little song about being hard headed, going out and getting so drunk that he’s got to come in by the back door to avoid the neighbors seeing him.
